This is my first attempt at blogging, so please bear with me when I goof it up! (I know it’s gonna happen– it’s just a matter of when!).
I’m not well versed in social media, as you can see, but I wanted an output for this trip I’ve found myself on. I used to weigh 438 lbs. I’m not sure how much I weigh now, since I don’t have a scale that can accommodate my weight. The last time I was at the doctor’s office in April, I weighed in at 394, which as I understand it was down a few more pounds than what I had weighed in March. I had never seen my doctor so excited and pleased with my weight.
Since then, I have continued to lose weight. My friends and family comment on it. My clothes are bigger. I’ve had to buy a smaller size for some things. The seatbelt in my car no longer cuts off my circulation!😃 I’m just not sure how much I’ve lost. (I’m debating buying a scale, but I don’t want to fall into that trap!)
The one thing I am definitely sure about is that this is going to be a very long and sometimes arduous journey, and I know there are a lot of other people out there who are making the same trip. I know I could use the company, and you all are welcome to join me on the way!👍
